While S.I.E develops reliable embedded platforms, Cyberus delivers the software layer — including our virtualization technologies KronoCore and the Cyberus Hypervisor.

Together, we design tailored solutions for customers in sectors like medical technology and industrial automation, where systems need to run smoothly and securely for years — often with legacy software. One of the best examples of our collaboration is the virtualized arcade machine we presented at Embedded World: a fun and visual demonstration of how we breathe new life into older software using modern hardware and advanced virtualization.

In collaboration with secunet, one of Germany’s leading providers of high-security IT solutions, Cyberus Technology brings advanced virtualization into critical medical environments.

Our Cyberus Hypervisor plays a central role in secunet medical connect, enabling secure, isolated execution of software components on shared hardware — without compromising performance or safety.

An essential part of our collaboration is the Software Factory: a developer suite that empowers reproducible software builds, supports extensive test automation, and ensures long-term maintainability. Through this structured approach, we help secunet deliver high-assurance, secure software solutions for sensitive and regulated industries.

Together, Cyberus and secunet are setting new standards for secure, sustainable digital infrastructure — where reliability and security are paramount.

Cyberus Technology maintains a close and active exchange with the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), Germany’s central authority for IT security. Our Cyberus Hypervisor is currently undergoing the accreditation process for VS-NfD (classified – for official use only) and is being prepared for future certification at the VS-Geheim (secret) level.

Through this ongoing collaboration, we ensure that our technologies meet the highest governmental security standards, reinforcing our commitment to developing trusted and resilient virtualization solutions for sensitive environments. Working closely with the BSI reflects our ambition to support sovereign, secure IT infrastructures — today and into the future.

Cyberus Technology is a proud member of ALASCA, a collaborative initiative focused on creating an operational, independent cloud infrastructure based entirely on open-source technologies. In a world where digital sovereignty is becoming increasingly critical, ALASCA aims to deliver scalable, secure, and community-driven cloud solutions — free from vendor lock-in and proprietary constraints.

Our colleague Martin Messer represents Cyberus Technology in the Technical Steering Committee, where we actively help shape the technical strategy behind ALASCA's growing portfolio of projects. As part of our work, we assess and classify new initiatives according to carefully developed criteria, advise existing projects on reaching higher maturity levels, and define cross-project technical goals for sustainable development.
